Well I don’t know much about women’s clothing but I figured I’d give all the ladies an inside scoop on a new line that’s slowly blowing up. The only reason I know this is because my sister, Jessica, launched this new company with two of her friends from FIDM. They are currently in over 50 stores and have recently been picked up by Macy’s, Hillary Rush, and W-Hotels. Animal…Maybe you’ve heard about this place, maybe you haven’t it, maybe you’ve tried it, and if you have I will bet you’ve been back. This is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in LA. I recently had some guests in from out of town who requested that I take them to a happening restaurant. Since LA has so many places, I asked a highly regarded celebrity chef friend of mine where the best non white table cloth restaurant was, and he directed me to Animal. Don’t ask questions…just go, eat, and thank me later.

It still amazes me when someone asks me for a phone number and I tell them to “Google text” and they say “What?” This is a very simple process and I actually canceled the On-Star in my car because this was much faster and more accurate. You simply store Google’s # (46645) and text them anything that you are looking for. Example: Restaurant name and Location…Pizza Hut Santa Monica. Within 5 seconds Google will text you all the info you are looking for. You actually can find stock quotes, movie times, flight info, price quotes, and much more. Try it on your phone now.
In case you haven’t heard SBE nightlife group recently bought 8 boxes in the Staples Center and opened up a 4000sf lounge where you can kick back at private tables and watch any event that goes on at the Staples Center. I went for the grand opening which was amazing and after a few cocktails I quickly forgot that I was at a Lakers game. After the game is over, they offer a free shuttle bus to one of their other lounges/nightclubs. Getting into this place is nearly impossible so be sure to call me for the low down.
This is the king of all websites for tracking your favorite food trucks with instant updates via twitter. In case you haven’t heard, food trucks (I think we used to call them roach coaches) are the new hottest eateries in town. About 2 dozen more trucks of various cuisines have hit the streets of LA since my 1st newsletter where I wrote about the taco truck that twitters (Kogibbq.com). There are grilled cheese trucks, gourmet burger trucks, sushi trucks, cupcake trucks, and anything else you can imagine. The website is actually pretty cool so check it out.
